Concept Statement
A lepke, translated into 'butterfly' is all about transformation. Inspired by the change in life that can come after the death of a loved one. A Lepke in The Night attempts to blend multiple silhouettes and bodies into one dancer and births a new form and movement from this. It tells a story of passion, love, and change. Using colors the choreographer closely related to their grandmother and family. We formed these shadowy bodies and silhouettes to tell this story.
